About Maro Burunsuzyan

Maro Burunsuzyan is a professional and aggressive, yet compassionate trial lawyer who takes pride in having been given the opportunity to represent accident victims and their families over the past almost 20 years.

After graduating from Hollywood High School in 1986, she attended California State University Northridge from fall of 1986 to 1991 graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in political science. She attended the University of West Los Angeles Law School starting fall of 1991 and graduated in 1994 with a Juris Doctor. Upon passing the July 1991 Bar examination, she opened her own law practice in December 1994 and has since been passionately fighting for her clients’ rights.

Nominated for the prestigious Trial Attorney of the Year award from the Consumer Attorneys of Los Angeles in 2004, she has continued her success with other accolades including being named to the Southern California Rising Stars list in 2004, 2005, 2006 and since 2009 has been listed in Southern California Super Lawyers. She has received Los Angeles Magazine's Top Attorneys Award in 2009, 2010 and 2011.

Ms. Burunsuzyan is a champion to those severely injured in accidents due to the negligence of government entities, large corporations and others, and continues to fight for her clients until they receive the just compensation they deserve. She has obtained verdicts and settlements worth millions of dollars for her clients without backing down to even the strongest opponents.

Her successes have paved the way for her firm's ability to combat major corporations and insurance companies.

She continues to serve as a role model to the legal community and a mentor to her friends and family. She is the mother of two sons and is as passionately a soccer mom at her children's soccer games as she is an advocate for her clients in the courtroom.
